11月1日から韓国の烏山基地を拠点に夜間の戦闘機・攻撃機(F-15 , F-16 , A-10)の訓練が始まり、併せて沖縄の嘉手納基地から烏山へ(C-130 , C-17 , KC-135)による輸送訓練行われ、韓国空軍の F-15K , KF-16 , F-4E も参加、米海兵隊岩国基地のEA-6Bも参加しているとのことです。
1日、Alaska ANGのC-130Hが2機、California ANGのC-130J-30が2機、横田基地のC-130Hが4機、横田基地を出て、嘉手納基地へ行き、オーサン基地に行って、横田基地に戻ってきているのは、この夜間訓練への参加だったと思われます。
1日から4日明け方までに横田基地のC-130Hは10機出動とフル稼働で、嘉手納、オーサン、三沢へ出かけたりして、深夜 0時、1時、2時、3時に帰ってきたりしていました。
4日昼から夜にかけて、横田基地所属のC-130Hは通常の訓練を行っていました。

Vigilant Ace kicks off in the Draggins Lair OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- The night is dark and cold in the "Draggins Lair," but the 25th Fighter Squadron is on the move. It's the first night of Vigilant Ace 16, a peninsula-wide readiness exercise, and while the exercise is just beginning for most of the base, the flightline is already buzzing.
Aircraft maintenance crews, weapons, personnel and munitions experts came together to prepare A-10 Thunderbolt IIs for flight. The 51st Operations Group and 51st Maintenance Group have been practicing and prepping for the anticipated surge of aircraft generation required by the exercise for days leading up to the official start.
In addition to the base's A-10 and F-16 Fighting Falcon population, the skies of Osan will also be filled with U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules, KC-135 Stratotanker and a C-17 Globemaster III from Kadena Air Base, Japan, and ROK Air Force F-15K Slam Eagle, KF-16s and F-4E Phantom from the ROK Air Bases Daegu, Cheongju, and Jungwon as well as U.S. Marines EA-6B Prowler from the Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan.
With such a wide variety of aircraft expected to participate in Vigilant Ace 16, aircrews will have the opportunity to train alongside the many different supporting crews from the ROKAF as well as U.S. forces across U.S. Pacific Command.
U.S. Air Force, ROKAF conduct exercise Vigilant Ace 16, Nov. 1-7 OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Approximately 16,000 U.S. service members will participate in exercise Vigilant Ace 16 next week, from Nov. 1-7.
The flying exercise is regularly scheduled training designed to enhance interoperability between U.S. and Republic of Korea forces and increase the combat effectiveness of both nations.
U.S. F-16, F-15 and A-10 aircraft will participate in the exercise, alongside ROKAF F-15K and KF-16 aircraft.
Vigilant Ace 16 highlights the longstanding military partnership, commitment and enduring friendship between two nations, helps to ensure peace and security on the Korean Peninsula, and reaffirms the U.S. commitment to stability in the Northeast Asia region.
